not understainding

Last night was one of the craziest nights of my life.Last night i pulled two people out of a mangled pile of metal.About 1130pm im smoking a cig.,while talking to my wife on the phone,the sounds of tires sliding on pavement,draws my attention to the main road(just on the other side of a parking lot,directly in front of my porch).As i look up the blazer starts to slide sideways,hits the median,and becomes air born.Without a thought i hang up on my wife and throw on some shoes,yelling to my mother to call 911
I run,(not knowing what to expect once i reach my destination).As i run on, closing in on the blazer,i notice two things the gouges in the grass and dirt,where it impacted the ground and the horable site of the blazer...My first thought was to help those in side the large mass(that once was a blazer).I see head lights of on coming traffic,(people trying to get by,without a care in the world,except their own agenda.).As i threw my hands up to stop these deranged individuals,i come around the blazer to see two legs hanging out of the drivers window.My heart sank into my stomach at once.(i thought the worst)I start asking questions,"can you hear me?Are you badly hurt?Can you move?".I hear a mans voice,"we're fine,we can move,we're not badly hurt".I run to the other side of the blazer and try to open the door,i pull with all my might and it dosn't move.I pull and pull,while trying to flag someone down(of the many cars driving around use)to help me.

Out of nowhere this guy starts yell,"i'll help you",as he runs up to my side.We both grab the door and 1....2....3...the door flung open,we helped the man out of the pile of metal,then the girl.Badly beat up and scratched they hold each other,for comfort.

The one man who helped me was impaired a little,by standers of the law,But he left his car and helped me anyway. Even though he risked the chance of getting D.U.I.
